Popular Nollywood actress, Toyin Anraham has made a shocking revelation stating that she started earning as an actress just 3-4 years ago after over 13 years of acting since 2003.
The actress who also doubles as a movie producer, made this shocking revelation when she got featured on TVC’s “Your View” television programme over the weekend.
Speaking on the show on her efforts towards curbing the novel covid-19 pandemic, especially during the ongoing mandatory lockdown, Toyin said she wouldn’t have been financial buoyant enough to help people as she is currently doing if the COVID-19 pandemic had occurred 5 years ago.
“If this had happened five years ago, I wouldn’t have been able to give because I was not making money then. I just started making money three or four years ago,” she said.
Speaking further on the show, she said the novel disease has taken a huge toll on countries globally, stressing that what matters most to people now is how to survive first.
“There is nothing that matters now except how to survive. After this Coronavirus, if people don’t change, then they have a problem. My car and that of my husband have been parked for days now, there’s nothing like competition again,” she added.
The actress also talked about what she does to ensure that beneficiaries of her online ‘giveaways’ are in deed people in need.
“Before I give people money, I check their social media accounts to know when they came into into existence,” she said.
