Uche Maduagwu insists that Azeez Fashola known as Naira Marley is legendary musician, Fela’s replacement as against what Burna has previously claimed of being the best artiste Nigeria has ever produced since Fela.

According to the Nollywood actor, Naira Marley’s music is original like Ex-Big Brother Naija star, Tacha.

He went on to say that even as the vulgarity in most of Naira Marley’s songs spurs so much topics of discussion, his music connect easily with youths every where in Nigeria just exactly the way Fela’s songs did back then.

His post;

“#NairaMarley is the best thing that has ever happened to afrobeat since Fela, his music is original like #Tacha… Some singers in #Naija thinks smoking igbo up and down automatically makes them great like #Fela, sorry #dear, that will only make you africas greatest audio fela, #hello sir, have you ever been arrested by the government for the lyrics of your #songs?

“So who is the mumu teacher that is deceiving and teaching you nonsense? If you have not smell prison because of your #music like Fela, stop competing with @nairamarley for the king of new #afrobeat, enough of this childish behaviour. Baba Fela never sang because he wanted a #GrammyAward, no, because music to him was spiritual and a medium of being a strong voice of the masses, that is exactly what #marlian is all about, a movement of freedom from mental slavery.

“Even the very few who criticize Naira Marley because of the vulgarity in his songs will unanimously agree that his music connect easily with youths every where in Naija just exactly the way Fela songs did back then, so who is the new king of afro beat?
