Messi overtakes Ronaldo as Europe’s all time record goalscorer with 438 goals in top five Leagues

Football icon, Lionel Messi set another record during the weekend by scoring the winner for FC Barcelona against Real Sociedad which marked his 438th LaLiga goal in 474 appearance for the Spanish side, making him the all time Europe’s highest goalscorer.

The Argentinian forward scored from a penalty spot which marked his 438th goals ahead of Cristiano Ronaldo’s 437th goals for Manchester United, Real Madrid and his current Italian side, Juventus.
