Still on the controversial topic, “who paved way for Burna Boy”. The Ex-Big Brother Africa winner, Uti Wachukwu recently shared a post on his micro-blogging platform in support of Burna’s earlier tweet that no one paved way for him in the music industry.
Standing on the notion that Burna Boy drew his own map and followed it, Uti Wachukwu tells people to put some respect on the music star’s name as what he said is a simple fact.
Stating further, the reality TV star said Nigerians should rather thank Burna Boy for putting Nigeria’s music industry on the map internationally than mock him or label him proud.
His tweets below;
“We should actually thank @burnaboy for putting RESPECT on our name internationally!! Especially at times like these where we have very little to brag about as a country! Entertainment has been our saving grace in recent times! PUT SOME RESPECT ON HIS NAME!! HE FREAKING EARNED IT!
Why do we have a problem with peeps blowing their own trumpet?? Why do we call it pride?? If u are used to putting yourself down and not speaking as things are/should be, then stay down!! But DO NOT FOR ANY REASON FORCE ANYONE TO THINK AND ACT AS SMALL AS YOU! Respect @burnaboy !”
