Nollywood comic actress, Steph Isuma professionally known as Calabar Chic has been appointed as Cross Rivers State Ambassador on Sports and Cinematography by governor Benedict Ayade.
She took to her Instagram page to announce to her fans and followers about the appointment while thanking governor Ben Ayade and the Commissioner for Sports and Cinematography, Prince Godswill Edwards for the opportunity.
She however promised to do her best in discharging the duties bestowed on her as she also needs supports and encouragement from her fans and the people of Cross Rivers.
She wrote;
“A CALL TO SERVE) I want to Thank His Excellency Senator Prof Sir Ben Ayade the Executive Governor of my Beloved Cross River State @sirbenayade through the office of the Special Adviser to the Governor Prince Godswill Edward @pge_prince7” And the Honorable Commissioner for Sports and Cinematography (Chief Ofu Aya) Cross River state.
I am indeed humbled by this recognition and opportunity presented to me to represent the Sports & Cinematography office of Cross River state as an Ambassador.”
I have always thought it, a great privilege to serve or be able to work in any capacity for my beloved state and Being inducted into the Sector as an Ambassador, Is a huge honour and a great responsibility to take on and I will do it with everything I have and to the best of my ability for my State and my country.
And so I enjoin you all to encourage us and support our ideas as we plan to project platforms that will propel the cause and movement towards greater heights. Through my office I’ll also Make use of Visual storytelling through cinematography to sell our stories to the world at large. Wish me Luck.
