Nollywood sensational actress, Juliet Ibrahim revealed that she has experienced rape as a child.
While on an interview with BBC Pidgin. She made this remark while speaking about rape and the need to voice out. She disclosed that she had experienced rape in a tender age but went further to say she would not go into details, as she doesn’t want to remember the scenario and doesn’t intend pressing charges.
One may think that the fair skinned beauty had it all rosy all through her life, but life always comes with it chequered up and downs.
She had intimated on the interview that she now has an eagle on her niece and younger relatives as she wouldn’t want anyone to experience what she had went through.
In her words:“I take rape very serious because rape victims can come out anytime in life. It is something that is very common, it happens to everybody. E happen to me. I’m bold enough to talk about it. That be why now I have Superman eye a dey look over my niece.
When asked about her childhood experience, Ibrahim stated that she didn’t really have good memories as most of her childhood was spent in warring countries: Ivory Cost, Lebanon and Liberia.
