Burna Boy’s latest album, African Giant has since stays on the top even weeks after its release.
The recent development being that the ground breaking album loved by audience has debuted on number 16 on UK album charts. It becomes the first African album to achieve such feat.
The album made its entry on the list with top 40 other album, with ‘African Giant’ on number 16.
It was gathered that the Official Charts shared this news on their verified Twitter account.
They Tweeted @officialcharts, “Check out this week’s Official Albums Chart, featuring the Top 40 debut of @BurnaBoy with African Giant.”
Of course the rating of the songs and album is compiled by the popularity of the songs or album in a week. The Chart comes in two categories the ‘Official Singles Chart‘ and ‘Official Album Chart’.
His collaboration with Dave on the singles “Location” brought into the UK charts for the first time.
On other news, ‘African Giant’ debuted on number 104 for ‘Billboard’s 200′ chart given the much needed international acceptance.
Burna Boy had a successful run from the ending of last year and through out this year.
He had performed in Coachella in April alongside Mr Eazi. He had also updated his award cabinet with the BET ‘Best International Act‘ award in June, before releasing his album in July.
His album has since been gaining notable remarks both internationally and locally.
